Near the end of my 2 yrs doing it I found I could feel the tingle in my hand doing certain exercises. My instructor told me an old saying. "Where the mind will go, the body will follow." Modern day sport psychologist call this self actualization. We train doing Katas at first from memory then it becomes automated.The muscle memory leads us through it, not our conscious thoughts. When we focus our breathing and thoughts we can project our "energy" Ki/chi. It is something that takes dedication and hard work. Thats my 2cents worth. Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
