Salisbury Maryland the the Isshinryu Karate Dojo of Tom Lewis

Ran across some older photos of the Salisbury Dojo 

in the days I was a beginner.

 On the outside it resembled a barn,

 

 

But inside it was the house Tom Lewis built.

 

 

 

 

 

On the dojo floor it looked like this.

 

 

 

 

There were many seniors who dropped by 

and always assisted Sensei Lewis.

 

 

 

And often Sensei Lewis would be in his office.  

With Dennis Lockwood too.

 

 

 

 

 

 

That is how I remember Salisbury when I was a beginner.
