Jeff Perkins Pretty simple. The more bunkai you add to a technique the slower you reaction time.

Hmmm, I am not sure I follow that logic, then again I have about 100 applications for the first movement of Seisan, the goal is not to know more, though I still look, but to discover that any movement or potential bunkai can be inserted into any attack to conclude it. The process of the study is to get to that actualization. Or at least to me.
