When I was a green belt and Bruce was a 1st brown belt one night, Bruce Venebals and I were trying to find a defense against this, we did not succeed that night.
Bruce was a student of Marvin Jones and went on to be a powerful black belt.
I heard after his black belt exam Marvin and Bruce were sparring and Bruce made an error, breaking his instructors jaw.
