Leading the mind

At the clinics we had with Sherman Harrill
he used to make a point that a simple touch to the arm
led the attackers mind to that touch.
Then a strike made following that touch,
would have greater effect.

This was not the only example he used,
but I saved it from of 1996 clinic
because it made the point so well.

This is Sherman Harrill working with Garry Gerossie for the demonstration.

First a simple light strike which does not have great effect.

Then a simple touch to the wrist and the same light strike.

Not a devastating application,
just a simple principle which he used over and over
in his applications.
