Robert Chu I always wondered why Tatsuo did not have include Passai in his curriculum, but you see snippets of it in Suansu
Victor Donald Smith It probably was in his original students studies (prior to the formation of Isshinru) At different times his curriculum changed, likely a choice because of the length of USMC tours of duty. It is possible because parts were saved in SunNuSu (Suansu) which he created he felt much was still there for his students to use. I don't know, just work to use what was passed on to me.
Robert Chu Your explanation makes the most sense. He was a pragmatic man. There’s also Gojushiho and Wanshu in his Kata. There are posts of Tatsuo’s early Shorin Ryu teachings.
