Victor Donald Smith Hint they do not contain everything, I can think of 2 from the Itosu kicking drill I recreated long ago, and I am quite sure there are others.

Dojo TokyoMushinkan I think it was 1935. LOL
If my memory serves me correctly I believe he co-opted jujutsu point charts as i do not think such charts were part of karate in okinawa... this could be said to be one case where japanese influence had a positive effect on karate development in the modern era. LOL

Mirko Nacano Was Otsuka that provided the charts to Funakoshi

I did not research these points, but I did read the book many times. When I posted this on my blog it was for historical reference for my students should their own studies move in that direction.

That said I believe this is the first time I have ever heard discussed that Okinawan systems did not appear to use similar lists.

In that I am now more aware.

So many things are discussed in casual conversation

that often do not have relevance in reality.

Let me give an answer when the whole kyusho theory thing began to kick around I heard many proclaim this theory was used in many Chinese systems, but no proof provided. One of my friends went deeper into Northern Eagle Claw than I could imagine. They used a different transmission, at no time were the meridian point discussed.

Having observed what he can do, it is just another dimension of study.
