As my blog moves forward and I share so much I saved over
the past 40 years, I thought I might shave a previous memory from 1975.
For a split second I was famous and made
Karate Illustrated.
in the Spring of 1975 my instructors and seniors
made a karate demonstration during a full contact card in Baltimore. They did
several demonstrations. For one of them Dennis Lockwood broke cinder caps on Al
Bailey's stomach with a sledge hammer. He was being held by Reese Rigby and I.
You can see my sleeve and a part of my blue belt on
the photo. So I became famous.
For a small fee, I will sign autographs.
