An Article about our program in Derry in 1985
I moved to Derry, NH in mid December 1984, and almost immediately requested the Derry Boys and Girls Club to begin a program of Isshinryu Karate with the youth. Having taught a similar program at the Scranton Boys Club for 5 years, it was a natural fit. They agreed and we started the program in January of 1985.
The program was for youth, however that year, I began an adult program there too.
