As I was exploring the concept of quickly unbalancing uke from katatedori hand
grabs, I came across this photo of Aikido Founder Morihei Ueshiba from his 1938
technical manual "Budo". This image has provided great insight into
the subtleties of unbalancing maneuvers and assurance that I was on the right
path in developing the "Zone Theory of Aikido".
