Chuck Norris had
already beaten Lewis twice before this. He would win this match 3-0 by side
stepping a side kick from Lewis and countering with a reverse punch. Lewis
would eventually win their fourth and final fight in 1968. These where full
contact, no gear, real fights between arguably of the greatest fighters of all
time. Not something that should be forgotten.
Anyone know who the Isshinryu practicing
center judge is?
Andy Sloane Steve Armstrong, of course. He used to officiate at
several of the big tournaments in those days.
