George Dillman in China

 

This video takes place at our DKI school in Chengdu China. We performed for China's national news and for a head of Shito Ryu Karate from Japan, who had heard Professor was going to be there!

Professor George Dillman served in the US Army through the 1960s and beyond. He was among the first to introduce the Eastern martial arts to post-war USA. Trained under Harry Smith, Danny Pai & Hohan Soken, he received advanced instructor certifications in many martial arts forms. A friend to Bruce Lee, he also coached Muhammad Ali. In the 80's and 90's he pioneered the use of pressure point theory in the West. He partnered with other great headmasters, like Professor Wally Jay & Remy Presas, to share seminars all over the world. In 1999 he was awarded the rank of 10th degree Black Belt. He is now the headmaster of an international martial arts organization with over 150 schools in over 40 countries. Grandmaster Leo Fong is qoute with saying "There are five pioneers who shaped 20th century world of martial arts: Jigoro Kano, Gichin Funakoshi, Morihei Ueshiba, Bruce Lee and George Dillman."
