This morning I was viewing a number of Chinto kata opening
movement variations that Sherman Harrill taught us
in 1996.
Then I discovered this series me and Tom Chan working
on one of those techniques. Under the watchful eyes of Sherman.
If anything I appreciate the work he put into his art
even more. He certainly explored the tiniest details of each movement.
When I think of Sherman, the following reminds me of
the man.
Hit ‘em hard,
Hit ‘em fast,
Hit ‘em low,
So they don’t last
