Karate 2 Person Sets
I observed Tristan Sutrisno many times drilling his students with these basic drills. I found them very interesting and worth of use.
To understand them understand the following shorthand.
These drills are performed in the front stance.
LFF means Left Foot Forward
RFF means Right Foot Forward
LFB means Left Foot Back (to the rear)
RFB means Right Foot Back (to the rear)
Set 1 Beginning with left foot forward left low block
LFF - Right front kick
RFF - Left front kick
LFF - Left low block
LFB – Right low block
Stay in RFS – Left low block
Stay in RFS – Right Punch
RFB – Left low block
LFB – Right low block
Stay in RFS – Left Punch
RFS – Left front kick
LFS – Right Punch
LFS – Left low block
Set 2
RFF – Right Rising Punch
RFS – Left high block
RFB – Right rising block, right inside (cross) block, right low block
LFS – Left Punch
LFB – Right rising block
RFS – Left rising punch
RFF – Right rising punch, left middle punch, right low punch
LFS – Left low block
Set 3
LFS – Right Punch
LFS – Right front kick
RFS – Left hook punch to head
RFS – Left roundhouse kick
LFS – Right punch

RFB – Left low block
