I studied alongside Tristan Sutrisno for 10 years, He taught is family version of Shotokan, Thimande, Aikido and his family Kobudo. From his gracious sharing with me, I learned a great deat. Some of which added to my students studies.

Just a reminder for anyone who does not believe aikido applications for karate techniques work. This is just the potential application for the technique. The greater study is the Realization of the Applicatinn where you work it against every possible attack until skill is developed. For every technique this is a much larger study taking greater effort. But a necessary step to make any application, aikido or karate, something you can realibly rely on.
