(1817): Hojojutsu (alternatively pronounced Torinawajutsu). The first Western
description is found in Don F. Draeger's 3 volume series of Classical Japanese
Bujutsu and Budo. In Japanese, Fujita already covered the whole topic including
history and countless depictions from various Koryu styles in the 1950s. When
was "karami-di" first mentioned in Okinawa?
