That was the Year that was 2017
There was a lot
that happened this year.
I ended my time
in Derry, NH.
Leaving my home
since 1985 behind and many friends as well.
Transferring my
dojo to Michael Cassidy and Young Lee.
Traveling cross
country 2,300 miles to Buckeye, AZ.
Learning to walk
anew in a new location, amid temperatures exceeding 110f over the summer.
Continuing to
document what I have seen for my students on my blog.
Continuing my
studies into the arts on the internet.
So today I walk
in warmer weather, amidst different plants, with mountains in the distance amid
a desert.
A most
interesting year, and I am looking forward to what follows.
